I did a similar thing last time I did an oil change and left the filler cap off before starting it up right next to the open back/kitchen door! Thankfully I realised fairly quickly so only had to clean oil splashes off the outside of the door, door frame, back step, kitchen floor, work surfaces, kitchen cabinets, sink and draining board then re-wash all the crockery and cutley sitting on the draining board before topping up the oil.....Oh how I laughed :x

My Burger gave ME a present today. Turned 20,000 miles, 8,000 of them mine in 11 months with no worries except routine maintenance, brakes and tires. (Tyres for the Brits in the crowd.) Probably a bit more since when I bought it the speedo/odo wasn't working. icon_dance5.gif icon_cheers.gif icon_clap.gif icon_cheers.gif icon_dance5.gif

replaced my exhaust hanging bracket rubber - AGAIN. They just keep melting, I can't believe Motad actually tested these pipes , other than to make sure they fitted.

Have had enough now and ordered some heat wrap bandage from ebay. I'll let you know how that fares.

Removed rubbed down and repainted some screws from the front mudguard as they were begining to show signs of rust and looked unsightly. They look great now :D
