I moved it out of the way, so I could take the Street Triple on the Stamford rideout (X9ORC), which went well with decent sunshine and about 250 miles travelled all-in.

Done 300 miles on S-Wing, managed to hit the rev limiter on the A1M Peterborough, leading a few other big scooters on the way to Stamford, had the feeling that they were waiting for the big bang to happen, but the little Honda scoot has a big heart (think the engine is a 150-200cc abroad ,so it should be bullet proof, and so it seems), it did 113 mpg on the rideout, and 102 mpg overall, so not much petrol tax has been collected on my day out.
With a lightweight small scooter it is very important to have the tyre pressures just right on the twisties, and today they were perfect, I think it was out handling the big boys.

What pressure do you put in the tyres?Dave Weller wrote:Done 300 miles on S-Wing, managed to hit the rev limiter on the A1M Peterborough, leading a few other big scooters on the way to Stamford, had the feeling that they were waiting for the big bang to happen, but the little Honda scoot has a big heart (think the engine is a 150-200cc abroad ,so it should be bullet proof, and so it seems), it did 113 mpg on the rideout, and 102 mpg overall, so not much petrol tax has been collected on my day out.

Tried bleeding the rear brake on the foresight (without success) ! Topped up the reservoir and pumped the lever but the level doesn't fall so I'm taking it to the dealer as I think the master cylinder is kaput

Re: What have you done to your Scooter today?
changed the drive belt and rollers, quite easy apart from removing plastics!!
a BIG thank you to wozza, without his help i'd still be in the garage now!!
UPDATE
done just over 100miles, what a difference!! nothings fell off and all is well (fingers crossed, touch wood etc!!).
she actually feels a lot faster and acceleration is something else

Re: What have you done to your Scooter today?
Friday:
Had a 2 hour ride around the city with my friend Yani ( X9125Evo). Went shopping at Louis, he bought nice new chrome handgrips and I bought 2 bike shirts.
Saturday:
Took a ride to the flea market in the morning but found nothing worth to buy, went home for lunch break. After lunch took a ride to a little village nearby where someone offered a pocketbike for sale. Bought it for 70 Euros, needs some care and customizing to be to my taste.

I dont intend to ride it ( so far, but maybe I cant resist to try it ), but its a nice decoration for my study.
