I do occasionally pop into High Beech for a cuppa, but haven't done any Muppet meets there.... why don't you set one up?

Well Congrats on your purchase / order whatever! You are the offical Muppet BMW Guinea Pig!!!

We shall expect daily riding reports about its good & bad points, what falls off etc...and I'd be very interested in any comparisons with the Tmax, as I'm contemplating following your example next year sometime.

You done well to get a discount, I went to Vines Guildford today to have a look and was having a chat with the salesman.I stupidly forgot the second part of my licence so could not take out a demo. They had none of either model out the front but he took me around to their service area around the back where they had around 3 of each model.
I di not like the blue in the photos but it looked nice in the flesh.Unsure about the bronze colour on the GT model.Sitting on the 6o0 sport compared to my tmax i was surprised at the size.It looks a lot smaller in the photos compared to the tmax.I was unsure about the pockets and they way they open.
They have a big open open day at the weekend but I doubt if i will bother test riding becasue i wont be able to afford. The salesman said they doubt if they will discount as they are so new.

You done well YelloMax :)

That's a lot of well engineered metal for the money - where did you get such a good deal? Was it http://www.hyundai.co.uk/offers ?
The Hyundai website starts the i10 at £8345...

Yes, £6995 for the 1.2 Classic i10 in white or red, all Hyundai dealers are doing the offers until 30th September. My dealer was also advertising free 5 years road tax with this, the equivalent of £80 (4x £20) as being new the first year is free, so instead of cash back, I opted for i10 mats and a full tank of fuel to cover the £80 extra saving. But I'm to believe due to the price and demand that current UK i10 Classic with base colour stock is running low, I got the last white one at my dealer, metallics are still available for extra. Apparently the next shipment is not due to dock until the end of September so will not have time to qualify for the current discounted offers? Last year June '11, they also had offers and I bought the wife a new i10 BlueDrive 'eco' 1.0 model for £7500. Her first service was only £88.00!

Let us know when you actually have the bike and we'll set a Sunday morning meet.
