Re: What have you done to your Scooter today?
It was Saturday not today but my longest trip to-date on the Tmax from Surrey to South Wales and back. Nice not having to pay on the Severn Bridge too. Lovely ride down, though didn't get to ride it around much once there as I was visiting relatives. Left Wales at about 8pm so in the dark most of the way home but got home in about 2 and half hours. Apart from my right wrist/forearm getting a bit tight holding the throttle open, the scooter settled into a nice cruising speed and I thoroughly enjoyed the change from using the car.

Bit like chrisp, not today, but last Thursday. Me and Mrs B went up to Staithes, about 15 miles north of Whitby - round trip of about 230 miles. Enjoyed the ride, but the wind made it 'interesting', strong westerly all day, so a bit iffy in places, especially across the Humber Bridge!
Start a set of 7 nights tonight
, so that'll be it until next week.

Gave the steed a good wash this morning as it still had all the dead insects splattered on it from my weekends jaunt to Wales.. and it was overdue a clean anyway.
then hearing the weather report this morning on LBC 97.3 and heavy rain forecast, I dressed in my no-nonsense HG water-proofs for my commute and guess what - no sign of rain here in W.London. Filled up with about £18 worth of Shell and got £3 off using my Shell discount voucher. Tried out my new Interphone bluetooth helmet kit which I fitted last night, good for taking calls but not so for listening to music as i like it load. I wear ear plugs so volume had to be on full. I'll try the radio on the way home, see how that goes.

Re: What have you done to your Scooter today?
Well, added some miles today and removed toolbox, rear panels and the floor. Inside was all matt paint and open seams. These are now full of rustproofing wax and all the floor so she shouldnt rot too soon. Also added a mudflap to the front to stop the stones etc chipping the underside.
Talking of the build, I found some welding rod stuck to the underside and inside the floor was a large panel clip and huge screw just sitting there! No idea where they were supposed to go
