....lol. I seem to remember my Atlantic had the same, though I think they were on for what seemed like awhile before switching off.

It's interesting, this talk of self cancelling indicators as I find it really pisses me off when I forget to cancel mine. It doesn't happen very often these days - I'm glad to say, but I always feel like a learner again when it does. Linking it to a sound might work but would probably get annoying after time, especially when stopped at lights.

No, they have one entirely conventional switch- the only oddity being that it has an incredibly small travel to the left and right

Well, it does indeed have self cancelling indicators. Twenty flashes with no brake and they're off. I took it for a hundred mile jaunt around Kent/Ide Hill yesterday and I LOVED it. Engine sounds great and it handles like a dream. Much tighter turning circle than a TMAX.

20 flashes for the indicators? Sods law says that in that case they'll be turning themselves off when you want them on for a longer period than usual!!!

Glad you are enjoying it. Although I wasn't blown away by the BMW, I definitely liked the engine noise.

How much faster does it feel comparing to your previous ride? Also noticed any difference in the weather protection?
