Back to X9s :D :D :D

Post by SOLO »

Hello

Well waited and waited and just cat wait so out of all the X9s i have decided to buy a 2001 Piaggio X9 125 Silver with X9 top box for £550.

Its got a problems, intermittent indicators and an intermittent brake light, but just had a years MOT and TAX put on it.
So i thought ill grab it, electrical problems wont get me down with a X9 i have stripped them and rewired most of them i have had, so these little problems on it cant be that bad!

Riding 85Miles to get home on it :) wish me luck, hope i make it LOL

Nice enough looking scoot for the money, and you know your way round them so should be OK.
Enjoy it.

Probably just a poor connection through the digidash as the brake light bulb failure passes through the digidash and it also controls the indicator function.

Hello

Yes got home late, went to my dads and to see a mate then just could not come home, could not stop riding the X9, was so comfy and smooth ride, did not relied how much i missed it, sad i know but couldnt stop riding it.

Its the most CLEAN and scratch free X9 i have ever seen, the guy had the following fitted few days before selling it to me:

Brand new front and back tires
All round brake pads
Belt
Engine mounts
4Road stainless exhaust
1 years MOT
1Years TAX

All for 550 pounds!
