Tmax.....with ABS!

Just perusing the new edition of The Riders Digest (www.theridersdigest.co.uk). It contain's a review of the recent Bike show by Paul Blezard. In it, he says that Yamaha are actually going to bring 'some' Tmaxs with ABS to the UK in 2013. No doubt they will charge us handsomely for this privilege!
Blez's review of the bike show is quite entertaining as it talks about all the scooters and ignores most of the bikes that the mainstream media have been going on about!

If I'd known I might have waited. Might have - at least there would have been a choice. I really like the Mk4 TMAX but wouldn't have bought it without ABS...

Yamaha Uk don't import it.

Yes...certainly the FJR, and I'm pretty sure (though not certain) that the Diversion / XJ8 range have ABS as an option. Yamaha are not noted for combined braking systems though.

Because the UK importer thinks that UK riders won't pay the extra for it! Or put another way, Yamaha products are so outrageously expensive in the UK that the importer is desperate to keep the asking price down a bit.
