You haven't heard the latest then? :? Might not apply to Activo but why are they selling all old stock off so cheap?

Just had a conversation with somebody whose mate melted his engine on Sundays ride to Munford. It appears that the Castrol oil he has been using for a while has changed and the spec is now for injection only engines not premix or autolube. It appears Castrol have not changed their labels or advised anybody of this.

***********************************************************

It has just been confirmed by Castrol UK that the formula has been changed in TTS oil and has got a new additive to help with oil injected bikes ie PX's-peds etc to meet emisions. Castrol Power 1 Racing seems to react with petrol (pre mix) and leaves black deposits on brass (jets etc) these deposits slowly close the jet size, thus running lean (including internal power jets) and Bang!!! Further more they informed us many oils for injector systems have a similar additive so check your jets and oil or it could be you next. All The Best Iceni Lambretta Scooter Club.

Yeah but it seems Castrol have changed the formula and are trying to offload all old stock before updating the labels.
