Yep. I normally go for the hiking/ski ones as I find they tend to come out a bit better quality than the Oxford ones. I personally buy the 3 peaks inner silk glove just because I have always used to get issued them from work.

Last year i bought the Keis x5 heated vest. It warms your back and some of your chest. I then bought their heated insoles as, with the feet not moving on a scooter, my feet were always cold. The insoles plug into the vest and the vest has a temperature controller. The controller has Low. Med . and High settings, i never needed more than Med setting. Two weeks ago i bought the heated inner gloves as well, as they also run from the vest, however, even on high setting i could hardly feel any heat in my hands whilst my back was too hot. I contacted Keis and they offered to check the gloves as they felt they may be faulty, i sent the gloves to them last Monday and am awaiting thier reply. I always fit my handlebar muffs in winter. :) Maybe i should have said they run from the bike's 12volt supply.

I have some battery heated gloves...but I don't find them very good, as I can hardly feel any heat from them. However, I've had them for a few years and battery technology has moved on.

I have a Biketek heated jacket that I wear occasionally - its fab, its like wearing an electric blanket! I do toy with buying some heated gloves to go with it, but the commute on the baby Burgman is too short to be worth the hassle, and I've got heated grips on the TMax (and muffs on both scoots)

Back in the mid 60`s when riding gear was nowhere near as good as it is now, we used to buy government surplus ex R.A.F. white silk inner gloves (probably WW2 leftovers). They kept your hands toasty warm in winter.

Silk body and leg warmers are also excellent as you can wear them for days on end without the usual accumulation of smells you get with synthetic. However if you have the money, the Helly Hansen range of baselayers cannot be beat. Had these issued once and was toasty in -40 blizzard.

For real warmth and staying dry I would love riding gear made from sealskin.

I've been using Klan heated bike gloves for the last few years & found them excellent, the heating only needing to be on when it's around freezing or below. Good for a couple of hundred miles at -8C 2 years ago (rest of me was getting icy).

Used to use the silk inner gloves from the 1980s onwards, yes they're really good, but now I'm old I prefer my heated gloves.

My Weisse lobster claws are good. Although sometimes they can get wet with sweat and then they get cold.
