Hello from another Midlander and ex Harley rider (Dyna). I identify with all that you are saying as to why you now have a scooter
Welcome
My Journey So far:
Yamaha Diversion, Suzuki Intruder, Yamaha Fazer, Suzuki GSX, Triumph Legend, Triumph Sprint ST, HD Dynaglide
Take all of the good bits of these and roll them into one bundle and thats what I now ride

No.1 topbox option has to be Givi, same too for higher screen if needed.

Oh and welcome.
Thanks yes, Givi seems to be the norm and in fact it already has the Givi big screen.

Hi, I'm just down the road in Nuneaton. I actually bought the Burg from a private ad in Coventry. When I went to look at the bike we got talking and it turned out the owner and me worked together at the Jag. We both joined on the same day as apprentices in 1969 and hadn't seen each other for 40 years.

Current one is my 3rd new Street Bob, now looking to sell. I notice there's quite a few for sale but hardly any private ads, they are all dealer bikes.

Mine was a 2011 Street Bob. Unfortunately it developed vibes in the right hand foot peg which made my foot go numb for a couple of days afterwards. Neither Preston Harley nor my local Inde Harley chap could sort it. Infact they both said there was nothing wrong with it. In the end I part ex'd it as I couldn't take the vibes. I got to admit I was quite upset the day it went.

Welcome from a fellow Midlander and fellow Burgman owner. You'll love the Burgman. I certainly do. I've had two.
