I think the answer is indefinitely as long as it has regular servicing and plenty of applications of ACF-50 and preferably owning it from new or at least knowing its history.

Not necessarily indefinitely, there can come a time when spares are no longer available.

Possibly not indefinitely for new spares but used spares will be around longer than we will i think.

If you run an old one you need to pick up spares before you need them I spotted a cdi for honda helix on ebay wasnt selling at £40 plus post offered him £35 and he posted it free didnt need it but pugged it in and it works so have a spare and could change at roadside or at least eleminate it as the fault .They are still avaiable from honda £150 but as only paid £400 for the scooter .

For popular models maybe breakers and ebay might be an option in years to come, but for the low sales volume of many maxiscoots...?
Anywho as for keeping old vehicles on the road where there's a will there's usually a way, but after a while the parts supply problem inevitably means a transition from practical daily transport to leisure time hobby.
