I have done just over 9000 miles on my Mana it has had 3 oil changes, 1 by the dealer when i first got the bike
The second was when the bike developed a oil leak which turned out to be a twisted oil seal which was repaired under warranty .which took 3 weeks to repair , the third i did myself
Oil & Air filter plus Oil £50
Brake pads front and rear £45
Tyres front and rear £160
The bike has never let me down and i am as happy with it now as the day when i got it ,
Be warned when undoing the hexagon nuts on the bike, they have a bad habit of snapping .

And of course, as I keep saying, Honda should put the Integra fairing on the N700X to make a commuting / light touring bike that makes sense.horobags wrote:, so if we bung a mana engine in a xevo, and a sh 300 motor in a s-wing 125 , us muppets have solved the global scootering needs
oh, and re introduce the c-90. sorted..

Yep I agree with that. Keep the trunk in the tank, but design a basic touring fairing, it doesn't need to be flash.

Re: Mana discontinued
+2 for that, Pan Euro kind of body style, same NC700 engine, buckets of fairing and built in storage. A sure fire winner

Had that!ZOOM ZOOM GRANDAD1 wrote:Be warned when undoing the hexagon nuts on the bike, they have a bad habit of snapping .

In fairness to the Mana & its servicing costs, the standard service at the dealers are cheaper then my mk3 Tmax ever was, never the less its a doddle to do yourself due to the naked design.
Cheaper still to do it yourself (obviously) It seems the main groan with the Mana is the pricey belt change at a relativly early stage in the bikes life (12Kish miles) compared to others which twined with the service at the same time gives it the outward apperance of being expencive.
For me its the perfect bike, very powerfull & sporty scooter while cleverly disguised as to not draw too much attention from the power rangers, who would other wize try to put me in a wicker man as some sort of offering to the weekend warrior God!

Re: Mana discontinued
But isn't the other problem that the chain and sprockets also need changing at 12k miles? And didn't someone on here once say that the parts alone for that cost £220 or something terrible??? OK the TMax isn't the cheapest thing to maintain (esp if you pay a mechanic to do it for you!), but at least there's only a £100 belt to replace at 12k miles.boboking wrote:

My Local will replace the belt for £150 so not too bad, the official dealer wants a lot more though

The chain & sprockets are 'replace if necessary' or if you can afford it!
