Anybody that is going want some brand new handlebar muffs?
I will have some with me, make me an offer and I'll donate the money to the Air Ambulance fund in Trauts's name
They are not the heavy duty ones, seem to be foam or Neoprene covered in nylon (Oxford ??), probably suit a smaller scoot. They were a thoughtful gift from a non-biker, spanking new, never been used. Have a look on the day

Sorry been out all afternoon watching super Reds thrash Wednesday

Meet you near the island where the Rutland Arms is? Bit of parking outside the Red Lion.
No, we'll come to the Little Chef. It's just over an hour or so from bakewell. We'll get there by 8.45 unless SatNav Steve gets lostZOOM ZOOM GRANDAD1 wrote: SteveM is coming whith Liam ,i think thay are meeting us at the ponderosa.

If we are gonna be late I'll text you, and we'll make our own way and catch up with you at the Ponderosa.

Looking forward to this now. See you all in the morning.
Looks like it's going to be brass monkeys in the morning but better by lunch time, might even be sunny

What a good do!
Sorry to everybody for being late
Thanks to Mark and Lyn for a great job leading and again to all at Chez Lyn for the gracious hospitality at the end of the ride.
It was a chilly start and finish but I think 16 (?) of us pulled in to the Ponderosa, a really good turn out, nice sunny bit in the middle. 300 miles for me.
Some excellent moments particularly the suprise corner going into Barmouth where the sea appears and a side on view of all the muppets climbing the road out of the river valley. A shame Halfabusa missed the second part of the ride where it went into the mountains - very spectacular, lots of colour, clearer views and the odd castle/ruin, top marks to him for coming so far.
Great stuff

Another great ugly bunch ride out with all the usual suspects and a few new faces all of which qualify for the ugly bunch. Respect to halfabusa for travelling so far to join us. Great weather I clocked nearly 230 miles on the little s-wing which behaved impeccably apart from going up steep hills which is only to be expected. Thanks to lynn and wife for the hospitality.

Im not a gynecologist, but I dont mind taking a look.
