New TMax tomorrow!
My (nearly) new mk4 Tmax is being delivered tomorrow!!
Its seems eons since I agreed the deal! I'm all nervous and agitated and excited! I have to keep telling myself it shouldn't be too different to ride from the mk3 (though hopefully better)!!

Re: New TMax Today!
Well, my mk4 arrived on schedule this morning. Looks rather nice, despite being all black! Very mean and moody looking, and looks very sci-fi like at the back!I'll put up a couple of pics later.
Only ridden it a few miles, but my first impression is how different it feels to the mk3! Feels smaller, narrower, lighter, and tauter (maybe my mk3 was getting soggy in its old age). It actually feels surprisingly like the BMW C600, only without the low speed vibes. Sounds different to the mk3 as well - a slightly deeper and smoother noise than the mk3, bit more like the mk2. Not as good as the C600's noise though. Didn't overwhelm me by immediately feeling faster than the mk3 though, though it was quite purposeful when I went to overtake.
Screen is on the low position I think, so it seems quite drafty. I'll have to work out how to raise it, which seems like a right faff on. I'll also have to work out how to use the multi function dash display as well. At least it displays the air temperature, but its also supposed to give fuel consumption as well/instead.
Mirrors? The good news is that the view behind is pretty good, but they don't half stick out a long way! The mk3's mirrors were such an elegant piece of design, slim, small, but with an excellent view, but on the mk4 they decided to mount them lower, but to see round your handlebars, they have to stick out like stag antlers!
More when I ride more!

I am glad I am not the only one that gets excited about a new scoot. Hope you have lots of fun once you've worked everything out.
