i'll just top it up with whatever is in my shed at the moment. Oil + filter change time coming up within 800 miles anyway, so i'll change it then. a couple of liters wont burst the bank so i'll buy some good stuff when changing the oil+filter. It's 10w-40 right? (not selling it now as finances not certain yet, maybe in a month or two)

You might have a point, i'll see how it behaves for a while... I just need to be able to trust it again. With the current level of trust, i wont be making any long ride outs anytime soon...
