This has been a great forum. One of the best, if not THE best that I've ever been on. No aggro and whining, no having a go at you. Just top quality help. When I needed assistance it was freely given.
But I've given up; my mileage is too much for the Burg. I'm doing 3-4000 miles a month for 7 months of the year and it is having a significant effect on the scooter. Bits are getting wobbly and the whole thing is starting to feel a little loose and plasticky. I'm sure it wasn't designed for these mileages so I don't blame the scoot.
I have enjoyed the 650 Exec immensely as it 's got me back on two wheels but I'm off to the land of Triumph with a new Trophy.
Thanks to everybody for their support; it's been emotional.
(Check the sales area for an almost new, and very cheap, Suzy topbox for the 650)
It's time to say goodbye.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then they beat you with their experience.

Thanks for all the replies. If you don't mind I'd like to stay and chat as before. I will do my usual useless 'living with the bike' review for the next few months.
Cheers.
