Spain again

Post by terryvanman »

Off today, down to sunny Spain for 20 days in the camper, ferry to Santander then to valencia and then along the south coast to Marbella for 8 days [in a holiday apartment] and then back up the middle via Madrid and Ferry back from Santander.
I might be bothered to take some photos, but don't bank on it as its a relax and dont give a shiit kind of holiday,,we shall see

Hope the weathers good for you. I'm looking forward to going back to UK where its cold. Fed up with this hot weather abroad. Its all fine when you are on a beach, but not when you have to work etc.

Pity you didn't tell me in advance Terry ,,if your heading south from Valencia you will have to use the E15 motorway which will take you straight past my door ,i'm only a couple of minutes off the motorway at Benidorm you could have stayed the night and i would have cooked you and her indoors a large portion of my world famous PAELLA .
Have a safe journey.
PS Terry,Just in case you have not done this journet before ??? when you leave Valencia on the ring road the motorway folks and the signs say ALICANTE on both roads keep over to the left on the aproach and be sure to take the "LEFT HAND FOLK" if you dont you will be taken miles out of your way on an inland sight seeing tour.
There is a road toll south of Valencia and it is about 14 euros to the tolls at Alicante after that it is an autovia and free all the way to Gibralter.

Just got back from Spain last night, Torrevieja area, and it was bloody hot. Saw a few campers parked up and I can remember thinking "how hot does it get in them during the night"? Do they have A/C?
Paddle harder. I can hear banjo music!
