Hi Ferret
Please share (via pm if you wish) some of your angst against MotoGB so I may address it - may the force be with me!
Many thanks

I do not wish to go down that road again as just the thought raises my blood pressure .

Re: New to the forum
Hi gn2
We are currently working on service intervals, we inherited a paper based warranty/service manual from previous importer. Since then we have introduced (similar to car industry) an electronic service history system with an intermediary change of the service intervals - extending time frequency to six months. Next (and final) phase is to facilitate the individual service requirements for each individual model - we are liaising with Taiwan to provide the most appropriate service schedule without compromising reliability.
As for the pricing of the Joymax, we will always strive to be competitive - take a test ride and see how good the Joymax is!
I rode the 125, 250i and 300i at launch in Tel Aviv and it blew my mind!
How far are you from Edinburgh?

Aberdeen area.
Ask Londoners to go to Birmingham for a test ride, see how that goes
Recently I bought a Forza, so I'm no longer interested in the Joymax.
Reasons I didn't buy a Joymax:
Price, far too high compared to Japanese branded options
Speedo, KPH on the large scale is just rude, if you are serious about the UK market, fit a proper speedo
Service interval, let's just say it isn't 8000 miles
Stock availability/local dealer, is there even a dealer in Aberdeen these days?

Aberdeen is one of our most frustrating places - should be good for us - but can we find a dealer willing to 'partner' with the brand....
I have friends in Aberdeen and visit frequently and it breaks my heart that I struggle with the dealers there. I will not stop trying though!
We import many brands.....One being the Worlds largest producer of 500cc machines.... They show larger kmh scale!
All of them are same as SYM speedo's, however I will bring this up as a valid observation - thanks, it may set us apart!
Service intervals, we are working on this, but with a three year warranty and lower service costs/parts I question the validity?
Thanks
Steve

I believe Shirlaws was a Sym dealer once, not sure whether they still are.
The other brand you import with KPH speedos, is that Kymco?
If so the USA models have MPH speedos so there is absolutely no excuse.
Three year warranty is not really a plus if you need to have a service every three (or six) months to keep it.

Re: New to the forum
I would also prefer a MPH speedo. My SYM GTS speedo mph is in really small numbers that are barely visible in inclements of 20mph. The kph however is larger and I have now pretty much got to the point were I convert the kph to mph (slightly off but close enough including speedo inaccuracy). 50kph = 30mph, 80kph = 50mph 100kph = 60mph.
