kayz1..What was the dealer..????kayz1 wrote:Richie, when my CB500x went in for it's first service i asked about this Very High cost of an oil and filter changeThey told me it is NOT written in stone that the tappets HAVE to be done it is only Honda asking the dealers to keep an eye on the tappet with it being a New engine design. They only have to listen to them and if a bit clunky to adjust them. My service was £90..and it's a crackin little machine.

Nice mods. I'll look into the dual headlight one. No idea how difficult it is or how it works but it looks very nice.chippie wrote:Dual headlight mod, wired sat/nav in and connected a battery charging plug.

Re: What have you done to your Scooter today?
changed the dr pulleys.. i had in 24 gms yet after i fitted the rear contra spring, they struggled with the polini contra spring in opening the rear pulley to get the belt down, the scoot was fine at normal driving yet at motorway speeds they could not get the belt deep in rear... so bought 28gm dr pulleys, fitted them yet after a week and 3mpg less the slight vibes i get through the handlebars is raking havoc with me old hands so this morning i split the mix of half 24gm and half 28 gm dr pulleys so in effect have 26gm dr pulleys... no vibes now and happy again

I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.
