This appears to be a common theme. I don't think the bikes are quite as good but they are making it a better package with excellent support for Kymco which is swaying many dealers. I'll certainly be looking over the Kymco bikes - they only need to be good enough...

SYMUK thank you for that, I have sent my address to you. I feel that SYM should really try and keep hold of there dealers as my local dealer that I mentioned deals with motoGB for other brands and I thought they would want them to have as many of there brands within on dealership. It's a shame that they have let them drop. Do you have plans for expansion with in the North East of Scotland.

Thanks SYM UK the catalogue arrived today. Excellent publication and what a massive improvement over the old one, would recommend folks get to see one. I agree with what others have said it would form a good basis for updating your website. The 600 looks great in it and for somebody looking for a smaller machine the new Joymax looks impressive. Looking forward to the first review of the 600 and seeing one. I love my 400 but a 600 is now on the top of my list. Thanks for the goodies the 400's keys are now proudly wearing their new key ring and the stainless steel USB stick very stylish (I am easily brought), best wishes.

Thanks Spaceprobe for those kind words!

Following earlier suggestions - the catalogue will be essentially the basis for the new website (already underway) - you see I do take seriously many comments here on 'Muppets'!

Somehow I need to get YOU guys testing the scoots and doing a review.... Seriously, it is your opinions that matter - not some pseudo journo who writes a review WITHOUT riding the machine!

I am a total convert to the Joymax 300 (but I too have my eye on a MaxSym 600) . I think the 400 a bit 'lardy' and bulky for the power - sorry Spaceprobe but that is MY opinion! HOWEVER......

Ronen Topelberg (internationally famous motorised photographer chose the MaxSym 400 as the machine for him to be a passenger on when doing the photoshoot around Tel Aviv at the Joymax launch last year.

I was at the launch of the GTS 125 and 250 in the South of France many years ago where the reviews were fab, but the new GTS/JoyMax in Tel Aviv was something else. First we tested the 125, then the 250 and finally the 300. I was in the company of 'Iggy' a freelance journo (respect for this guy - who incidentally was at the launch of the original in South of France!) whereby the both of us said at the end of the test day we would prefer to go out and do some 'real' testing, and not a stilted accompanied test.....

So, we were accompanied, by a lunatic! All on Joymax 300i models for a 45 minute ride out of town and back - I had the back end step out a few times on the shiny hot road surface!

On to today - we have a Joymax 300 in our workshop for a 'strange' final drive issue - we strongly suspect wrong oil has been used but SYM just wanted MotoGB to strip, repair and send damaged parts and oil back to Taiwan - no questions asked! (High miles and oil smelled like EP90!)

When fixed, technician reported green light AND told warranty guy to have a test ride...... Our warranty guy had a spin and came back grinning exclaiming that the acceleration was like a 'Fireblade'! One or two more went out... All impressed.....

I asked that they keep it quiet - I don't want GN2 getting excited that a SYM accelerates 'almost' as good as a Honda (Fireblade!!!) Made me laugh anyway!

Look after the keyring - it will match your new MaxSym 600!

Cheers

I am sure Data and I will definitely be up for testing a 600,that sports colour scheme looks the business. It's good that's SYM are taking note of customer comments in that they have changed the mirrors and the exhaust 2 things that get lots of comments. If you want to improve acceleration on your Joymax try putting a Brisk sports plug in its made a huge difference to my 400. Best wishes.
