2015 - Helix UK Iron Butt 2015

In 1995 Ed Otto did Iron Butt Rally in USA on a 250 Helix over 9000 miles in 11 days .In 2015 ex muppet and Helix guru Jaz aka Black Sheep Radical will be attempting UK Iron Butt which is 1000 miles in 24 hrs as its 20 year anniversary of Ed Otto's attempt and still holds record for lowest cc's bike and he didnt come last either.Im going to have a go as well but Im realistic as to if I can do it .Anyway if you want to have a go and have a Helix or want to buy and prep one for disscussion and prepping we are on Facebook now closed group so have to ask to join

Bloody good on you and BSR for attempting this julian, quite a challenge but be optermistic and go for it, any sponsership involved , let me know.

Good luck Julian. Friend of mine has done it several times on a Vespa GTS - it's hard going. They usually set out at 4am and finish at 1am ish. How he managed to do 9000 in eleven days is beyond me!

I dont think we will be doing gts speeds Helix is 25 years old in 2015 was thinking gps 60 .One of Jaz's mates did it on Honda C90 with time to spare
