Wasnt trying to compare to the yamaha or for that fact any any other maxi scoot, all the major brands.
The one you are trying to defend is a disposable toy!!!!
By the way the majesty and tmax are within 1 or so kgs of one another
You cant compare a tmax with a majesty one is a sports tourer the other a brick or a full tourer, different set up just like the Vespa.
The vespa in my eyes is a mini muppet and will always be one and for nostalgia reasons wont go away.
good for a laugh or for touring to the corner shop .
Seriously

Pete

Vespa GTS300 Super for practical runabout, Triumph Tiger Explorer for conquering the planet. Car almost obsolete.

Ive got my own facebook page "Black Country Plastic Auto Shite" its a refuge for maxi scooter riders who have been abused by trad scooter riders and can post photos of plastic scooters and not be open to abuse by their Trad mates who call them "plastic auto shite"

the majesty was the worse scoot i have had

costs a fortune to do anything to it as there is over an hours labour just to take the plastics off

yes it was a good long distance scooter as long as you went no more then 70mph

and it had space under the seat for loads

but mine broke down and spent nearly as much time being repaired as being ridden

that decided to boil the oil and shat its engine at 7000 miles
i was an atheist until i realised i am god
Remember its a speed limit not a target

Disposable? :? You'll see more old (ten years plus) auto Vespas in London than Honda scooters. Kind of a tribute to longevity perhaps.

my first maxi was a majesty bought it brand new it had to go back to dealers 7 times in a van and at 8 months old and less than 1200 miles on the clock... yamaha gave up offered to replace it with a new model ... after asking were they actually taking the piss i managed to get a full refund ... never again

I do think now tho Japs are lowering quality to compete with chinese on price

There have been a fair number of broken crankcases on pre-eSP model PCXs, the centre stand mount lugs fracture and this has been known to cause catastrophic oil leakage.
