Been on ebay.

Post by russ270 »

Hi.
Wife left me on my own last weekend so I went on ebay a bought an 08 400 Burgman. I did actually put some effort to researching, and had been toying with the idea for some time. I found the information on this site invaluable so thanks to all who came before me it's good to know in this digital age that what ever your problem or however obscure the information you are looking for some one else has always gone before asking the same question.
Don't get to see the bike for another 2 weeks but I will be doing my own maintenance, so will no doubt be diving into your archive looking for advice. on that note it's done 20.000 miles is there anything I should be concerned about from a maintenance point of view?
Regards

Russell.

Welcome. That's how I got back into bikes. Impulse ebay purchase in 2006 and I had me a six week old Honda Pantheon 125. Didn't even know about the CBT either! Took that then after about 18 months did my bike test so I could ditch the 'L' plates. In 2009 I chopped the Pantheon for a new Honda SH300. A couple of years after that I added to my collection and bought a brand new Burgman 650 and just two months ago I chopped the Burgman in for a Yamaha FJR1300. Damn eBay!
Paddle harder. I can hear banjo music!
