Wonder if they are sharing a cabin on the same ship :-)

Now that would be a possibility. I'm sure SYM will have a reasonable number of bikes arriving to stock up.

We'll I haven't received a date from the dealer but I'm assuming that the scoot was on the same ship as Spaceprobe 600. Will need to contact dealer at weekend to see if there is any news. Yeah happy to stick with SYM. Only time will tell if it was a bad decision. Have no issue with their quality, more motoGB and their response times.

And you're waiting for the new stop/start model? I'm really looking forward to hearing about this bike as well as Spaceprobe's 600. I'm sure when I eventually return to scoots again, a SYM will be near the top of the list.

At this rate I can see you two hiring a pedalo and setting off to meet the boat :)

With running in, I don't know much about the science of oily bits;
but on a practical level I find it hard to vary the rpm by enough on an auto scooter in normal traffic. Much easier on a geared bike to avoid repetative whipping and hotspots from constant rpm's

They could stay overnight at mine and intercept the boat before it docks - there's even a slipway so you could tow the container ashore.
