Xmax 250 Bent Front Rim

Post by Phil_Max1 »

Hi Guys, coming to work this morning on the A13 and a tipper truck decides to drop a few bricks on the road. I hit one at about 40mph and managed to stay on the bike. But unfortunately when i got off to check the bike I noticed on the front wheel that the rim was bent, please see the photos attached. I dont think it is leaking air but I guess I will find out after I finish work later today. Could you tell me if this type of thing is repairable or is it a new wheel?

New wheel required.
Could be cheaper and quicker to pay for it yourself rather than involve your insurance.

It could be that the tyre is knackerd too, even though it looks OK it's had a battering.
