A wee run along the coast
Re: A wee run along the coast
The true aficionado of Scottish breakfast fare knows square sausage isn't actually square and calls it by its correct name, Lorne sausage.

Looks chilly
I don't know that area well but I've been up to the bombing range at RAF Tain a bit further up where there are targets moored in the bay.
The coast around Dornoch and Loch Eye looked very nice, lots of wildlife about.
A friend comes from near Nairn and he once gave me a tour of Nairn, Inverness, the Black Isle and then up into the Highlands. Some great sight but had to breath through my teeth because of all the flies. Must go back there some time.

Re: A wee run along the coast
We have a few Scottish sounding restaurants down here that serve round sausage meat. I went to one this morning and it was delicious! They mix it with herbs, cook it and serve it with an egg and a slice of plastic cheese stuffed between a muffin. Cant remember what they're called though...
