Let's just be clear here. I have no problem at all with commercial involvement by anyone as long as it's honest. If you run a company - as I and so apparently do you - then maybe you should have shown some restraint. Meldrew and I have had some real ding dongs but we have never been personal and its that aspect I object to.

Just out of interest if you do live in Wakefield, have I seen you about on a Scoot? If you ride then come on a Northern Riders meet up. You can meet Steve he's got a Sym 400.

By the way my Charity of choice is Smile Train. Obviously I support the efforts for the big ones Cancer and Heart etc, but with Smile Train it's not about the long term it's an immediate effect on the lives of Kids born with cleft lips and other facial deformities. If you want to donate that would be fantastic.

I wholeheartedly agree. We are lucky to have Steve's input on here.
+1

Great idea!

Have I missed it? Where are the road shows going to be? I've got some days owing so I for one will be there.

No sign of these roadshows appears to be on the main SYM uk website.

SYMUK desperately need a Marketing Manager, this is basic stuff.

+1.

Don't go anywhere Mr SYM. We like you and what you bring to the site...information and realism!
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Been riding for 55 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

According to SYMUK this Roadshow is at Dave Wood Motorcycles in York the first week in June and that's only a couple of days away. Yet when you look on the dealers website there's no mention of any SYM Roadshow at all, and if it's not publicised who knows it's on apart from forum members reading this topic. So who's going to turn up and ride these SYM demonstrators if no one knows they're there?

I'm retired and I can go along any weekday when this Roadshow is on, but they're closed at weekends like a lot of family businesses. That's not ideal for any Muppets who work weekdays or want to use the York dealership for a meet on a Sunday.

I think we need to take a second look at what was stated for Dave Woods in York...

Dave will be taking delivery of said MaxSym 600 and Joymax 300 for his own stock!

The roadshow is in planning, hence no mention on website etc....

Delaers have to commit and the venues have to 'fit', we are well on with this task and a full announcement will be issued in due course

As they say, 'watch this space'
