ABS Worth 60% More?

Post by Beard »

Hey,

Looking at S Wing 125s, I see the ABS versions at around £2500, where as the Non-ABS ones around £1500.

Is ABS worth that much more to someone on a budget?

Age of the ones at £1500.....? Same as the ABS ones....?
ABS well worth having, I probably wouldn't buy a scooter without it.

£1500 a little older, but similar miles. I would prefer ABS as well, just didn't want to pay £2500 ;)

Yea, I'll try on the offer, no idea how flexible the prices are with trade sellers, or if it's better to go down the private route.

If it saves your life one day, or saves you from having a serious accident it's well worth it! I'm another ABS convert and I won't buy a modern machine without it.

The price does seem high, however:

An extreme example of how ABS differs from a non ABS on a motorcycle in 'certain' conditions...

Personally I wouldn't have seen the difference as I simply would not even have noticed a non-ABS version. I usually filter them out on the search options.
