Took the Majesty to the Lads garage for comp test and camera down the bore...not good news
if the bike HAD to have a gas test ( exhaust gas ) it would have failed big style
comp test says knackered and big grove down one side of bore
so that's the winter job sorted then,,,300cc barrel and piston

Bought a belt, air filter, oil filter and sparky plugs ready for my Silverwings 16,000 mile service.
I suspect they'll sit on the kitchen table for a month or so first though

Waiting patiently (not really) for new drive belt, bolt and gasket for my TMax... Suttons are bastards for saying stock allocated in their tracking, this should mean its a stock item and has been allocated for dispatch if done quickly after purchase, but instead it means they have ordered it in.
I still haven't learnt my lesson with them...

I hope you are going to carry out this work after Saturday's rideout as the last thing we want is for the lead scooter to breakdown!Funkycowie wrote:Waiting patiently (not really) for new drive belt, bolt and gasket for my TMax...
