Never too old to be a biker.

Post by ALY »

Just sold my Sym Maxsym 400i to an 83 year old gent who presently owns a Joymax.
Arrived at my house in his car with a bike trailer attached.
He liked and bought the scooter which we then loaded onto his bike trailer and away he went.
Hope I am as fit and able should I reach that age. :D

I hope (nay pray!) I'm still exploring France on my X9 250 Evo currently sat waiting for me in my garage in Brittany.

It'll likely depend if I'm fit enough to still cope with the wood fire heating and not had to return to the UK, if they'll let me back in and I can afford it!

For me that all depends on my mental and physical condition. As Kurgan said in Highlander, "it's better to burn-out than to fade away."

I bought a Kawasaki W800 on which I got a good deal.
Reminds of Triumphs I owned in the 1970's.
Shame about the Maxsym but I needed the space.

I believe that line was penned by Neil Young in the late 70s some time before Highlander...?
