Not sure its just a matter of crossing border into Spain then going back as he is resident there .I know long term Mhomers move country to stay legal .He did say was thinking of selling it tho

The authorities take special interest at school drop-off time, helps them prove you're living there and possibly haven't completed the necessary paperwork
