SW-1

Post by Bluebottle »

We never got the SW-1 here so it isn't really surprising but in a conversation today about bodywork boost knew what I was talking about; so I thought I'd post a pic

SW-1 250
Retro look but its from the 90's

Ta for posting that, I'd never heard of the SW-1... I like it!

If anyone's interested there's a whole page of photos, brochure scans and specs here.

There's about 5 behind :)

Yes it's a Suzuki production model, but for the home market only.
Side panels are built in panniers.

I've always liked these and the Honda PC800

I like it ! It has nostalgic looks with built in conveniences and more modern under pinings complete with those safety leg shields we nearly had in the 80 s .

No idea what the price was

They only made them in 92 when Japan had started its boom in retro styling. One of many short runs for the home market

Like a Deauville but nice! With proper gearing (CVT) something like that would sell like hot cakes.

MMmm, hot cakes..
