Will you be doing many miles in Norway? if so....check your back tyre before you go and make sure it has LOTS of tread.
The road out in the sticks are very abrasive ( for grip in the winter ) and will kill your rear tyre in about 1200 miles...ask
me how i no that go on
Six of us did the Nordcap in 2007 on BMW R1200GS's and we all had to get new tyres before we got home, and they were
not in stock any where and VERY expensive   Stock could be different now :!:
If you ride gently it will probably be ok but if you thrash it ( not recommended with the speed limits ) it will die. :D
Hope you have a good time...Ow! lots of honesty huts to camp in out in the wilds, food and fuel/ lodgings costalot.

Took it out for the first time this year. Had to shovel the snow to make a parking spot at work. The stand went straight through the snow.

Oil change (1.1 litres) and thimble filter clean. Went for a 10 mile first season ride, very windy with a brisk chill.

Broke it yesterday and fixed it today. Just need to get some screws and clips from the stealer and the last panels can be put on.

Washed it, but forgot to rotate the front wheel when washing so I have dirt stripe

I often park on soft verges and mud when I'm out taking pictures. Thought i would weld a bigger foot on the Sidestand to make it a bit more secure. I was just hoping to weld a plate on, but when I looked at it I could see myself slashing my leg on the edge if I did that. So I added some round bar to the edge.
