01/03/15 - Breakfast meet Blackpool Area
Turning a Bad thing into a good thing, I have to go to Blackpool this Sunday to do a floor inspection - don't ask. So taking the Boy Wonder along I thought if any one in the area wants to meet for a Breakfast it might be a good thing especially if they know where to get decent food. I think we will be there about 10.00 ish. So any one interested or just know somewhere to eat?

Wasn't me at Squires. The trip to Blackpool was a.disaster. We had a great ride up cross country on A roads from Bradford via Skipton but decided to take the M55 for the run into town. Steaming along about 80 when Richards bike lost power. Motor fine but no drive. I think the belt has gone. Which is a Bugger as its not that old. I had to leave him on hard shoulder to get my work done. AA took.ages to arrive I had got my visit done and rejoined him. After loading his bike on the truck I rode home alone. Through snow and rain. PLUS loads of demented females driving in terrible visibility without lights. Temperature showing as down to 2 degrees C. Started well but went Pete Tong. His bike now in for checking out but it's the belt in my mind.
Thanks for asking by the way.

could be the stopper bolt if it's a 650, 4of your squids for the bolt and an hour to do if you do it your self...several hundred if dealer does it. If it is the stopper bolt PM me and i will tell you how to do it without pulling the whole thing to bits.

It's important too keep filter clean on belt case so get good flow of air for cooling and check belts for cracks in between teeth .It's heat does them in

Not good Richard. I remember when I was doing some courier work broke down on the M1 just before the M25 at 1.30pm got home at 2.00am the following morning, nightmare. I had a brand new Suzuki 600 dumped all its oil in the fast lane
