I'm going to stick my neck out and say that in the UK there was no such thing as a 2007 Honda Silverwing FJS400.

Got to recommend the yp250r . 40 odd years on motorcycles and medical condition forced me into trying scooters to keep riding two wheels. Started of with a cheap 125 Sym and immediately released what this mode of transport could offer bearing in mind my last motorbike was a VFR750. My 2014 yp250r handles as well as most bikes I've owned. Amazing storage 2 full face helmets gloves chain rucksack all fit under seat. 80mpg commuting to and from work over 22 miles of mixed B roads and national speed limit dual carriage ways .100 yard gain on any car from the traffic lights without trying.Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£68 fully comp.insurance and a smile from ear of ear everytime I arrive at a destination. Google yp250r reviews and you will see I'm only slightly biased. Always thought the Yamaha advertising bumf of the R standing for racing was a bit far fetched for a scooter but there is a Honda cbr600 who I took on the inside lane @ Crown island knows different. yes thats why i thought it was quirky, probably came over from france and registered here, only ever seen i other for sale in uk still a nice twin engine if you did not want a single

Thanks michaelphillips, believe it or not Chorley Yamaha is a 2 minute walk from my house

May have to dust of the old helmet and go out on a few test rides, it seems i have been out of the maxi scooter scene for far too long!

Had a 250 X Max - well up to the task and reasonable mpg...
125 will become a chore and will have shorter service intervals...
If ya need a little more weather protection maybe a 250 Majesty?
