Serviced the CVT on my Maxsym. The scoot spent its 3k life tootling around town with its careful single previous owner. Rollers still round, good clean of all the variator compnents, followed by the clutch material and bell de-glaze. Took the black sponge filter and strainer off, jolly good wash with some muc-off and a rinse. Returned a sparking silver strainer and a dark grey sponge to the assembly. All in all, definitely worth the two hours.
My Maxsym no longer has the start off judder, its now buttery s-m-o-o-t-h. icon_lol4.gif

Washed the bike today but have a lot of grime on the wheels. What's the best thing to get them clean apart from soap and water.

Finished... sorta... the screen.

Put some of that split tube around the edge as I had some on another screen that I don't use but its smoked not clear so might get some.

And added a little joke to piss off sports bike riders :D

Pictures will be posted after lunch.

Very nice Funky', amazing how a bit of yellow can transform the mundane grey, I'll have to do the same to my GTS300 which is currently a fetching M11 Grey (not sure why SYM colour matched a UK motorway).

think its more grease spraying off the chain onto the tyre in motion, i find castrol spray chain grease does not fly off the chain, stays put
