Re: What BHP?
There are two different injected engines
2003 - 2006 and 2007+
For official use the early ones are a bit under 32hp, the later ones a bit over (rounded off to 24 KW)

My 2012 400z abs is 34ps that's nearer 33bhp.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Re: What BHP?
Yes. Mine says 24kw and so does my owners handbook which is not really a surprise. My handbook also shows the old higher final drive reduction gearing which is also different from 2010 onwards. But all the blurb for the 2012 is 25kw (33.51hp). Suzuki show it on their sight as 33hp. I've dyno'ed mine 3 times (and 3 times each run for the average) for the sake of interest and it's putting down 28hp at the rear wheel now she has a squillion miles on the clock. That's up by 2hp over when she had just 1500 miles on the clock. That means she's easily putting out 34.5hp+ at the crank. The inertia dyno I've been using is an old machine and doesn't do the crank calculations, although it's an excellent machine and is in superb condition with regular factory maintenance so it's accurate. I found switching to fully synthetic oil gave and extra 1hp at the rear wheel and this has remained consistent whatever the temp and humidity.

There is a bit of give and take by DOT by just a little.
