Newbie

Post by Sir guy »

Hello all, after owning sports bikes for years and torturing myself riding around Europe 2 or 3 times a year I've accepted the fact that I need something more sensible and comfortable to play on so I've got myself a tmax 530.
Anyway six of us have bought tmax's and we've just got back from a weekend trip to saint malo France, all six bikes ran perfectly but oddly my 530 and another chaps 500 speed sensor's packed up (seized in the hub) I've fitted a new sensor to my bike and now it's reading half speed so 60 mph is showing 30 mph on the speedometer and so on, I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem or can offer any help on this problem, any help appreciated.

Thanks for your help I have disassembled and reassembled it already so now I'm thinking maybe I damaged the sender part when I was removing the original Bakelite ring which had broken up
