I thought this was slightly interesting...

An (apparently) semi-serious off-road capable bike (unlike the faux ones) with DCT. Obviously no reason why not, but I guess it'll be too radical for some.

Cool, dct must have been a success for Honda for them to be increasing the range of bikes with it.

I am surprised that Honda have not yet bought out a Full Tourer with DCT.

"Off road capable" bikes make so much sense, you never know when you'll have to mount a kerb to get parked.

Everyone thought that Honda were going to replace the Pan European with something based on the VFR 1200 (DCT option), but it seems that they changed their minds.Normsthename wrote:I am surprised that Honda have not yet bought out a Full Tourer with DCT.

I thought that as well the VFR1200 DCT Engine is a beaut, it wouldn't take much to change its clothes into a Full TourerEveryone thought that Honda were going to replace the Pan European with something based on the VFR 1200 (DCT option), but it seems that they changed their minds.

Re: New Africa Twin - with DCT
I read a article about the DCT Africa and it said the following :-
Andy
Shows just how popular DCT is gettingHonda has sold over 35,000 DCT-equipped machines in Europe since its 2010 introduction and in 2015 more people (53% of the total) have chosen DCT over a standard manual transmission on the models ÂÂÂ(VFR1200X Crosstourer, VFR1200F, NC750X and NC750S) which feature it as an option.
