Re: Swing 125 rider but may have to upgrade
Good luck finding one, Yamaha have not imported any ABS Xmax models to the UK.

They are on their website and on dealers but mainly as new bikes

That's a very recent development then, within the last few months.
I doubt there will be any used ones on the market yet.

My Daelim S3 Advance 250 (SV250) gets to about 90 mph clock indicated and cruises at 80 mph with ease with another benefit of 80+ mpg. It may not be the most popular brand seller but imo it has to be among the top 5 for build quality, reliability and style.

Aye up and welcome. I have a 2014 250 xmax and coming from motorcycles am pleasantly surprised with the handling. You can fit 2 full faced helmets and more under the seat but the two glove compartments are small. Commuting to work in often standing traffic gives me 84mpg however on a recent run with the Maxi Muppets covering fast dual carriage ways and Peak District roads 95.7 mpg was achieved . Sit all day at 70mph if needed. Have you had a test ride on anything else yet ?

Re: Swing 125 rider but may have to upgrade
Hi all,
Having done another week of commuting on my Swing I have come to the conclusion that I will keep my scooter for now. The speeds on the M4 at rush hour times aren't that high, mostly below 60mph. And when traffic stops i can easily filter.
I know my bike and how to service it. I get 100 mpg and its roomy and comfy.
Also if i go for anything bigger all involved cost will increase and if i get something brand new my I tie up a lot more capital. My Swing has already paid for itself during the commuting of last year!
So its a keeper!

I have measured my mpg over the last 2 week and I filled up twice having done almost 400 miles and averaged just over 101mpg! well impressed given that 300 miles are on the motorway at high rpm
