Hello

Post by Graham G »

Hi,new member.Thinking about buying a bike,after about 36yrs.without one,i'm considering all types & very seriously considering a scooter.
Essential requirement for whatever i buy will be,2 up capable & passenger comfort,i really like the idea of the Burgman 650,but not sure i need a bike that size, for lazy afternoon rides, for 2 old people.
So joined the forum to read & learn.
Cheers,Graham.

Hi Graham and welcome.
Pete

Vespa GTS300 Super for practical runabout, Triumph Tiger Explorer for conquering the planet. Car almost obsolete.

Hi,Gerard C.I'm based in Warrington,a generous offer :),like i said in my intro post,i've not ridden a Bike in the UK for 30+years,until today, when funnily enough a friend of mine has lent me his Yamaha Fazer,to see how we(the Boss & i)feel about riding amongst present day Drivers & traffic conditions,so we'll see how that goes.
It's not a scooter but it's got 2 wheels & a seat :D.
I'm not sure which scooters to look at,so i'm going to post in the General section & get some advice/opinions,
after our ride Tomorrow ;) .
Can i ask,are you a dealer ?,or do you own several bikes?.
Cheers,Graham.
