Welcome Dave. I think Wozza is in Morecambe and Sylar is in that area somewhere but neither come on here that much now.

I had a test ride on a Silverwing but Mrs D found it too buzzy - "I won't be going any long rides on that!" To be fair it was a 2010 with 10,000 miles on it so it may not have been delivering optimum performance.JohnR93 wrote:Hi Dave,

Then I tried a Burgman 650. It was a great ride, especially on motorways but I found it too much of a lump - I struggled getting it on the centre stand without any luggage so it would have been hard work on tour. But how scooters have changed since my LD125 in the 60s.

I was surprised to hear that too, I would not have described mine as 'buzzy' I didn't think it was buzzy doing a ton, but hey ho, horses for courses and all that.
