Welcome Dave. I think Wozza is in Morecambe and Sylar is in that area somewhere but neither come on here that much now.
There have been a few runs up that way.

I had a test ride on a Silverwing but Mrs D found it too buzzy - "I won't be going any long rides on that!" To be fair it was a 2010 with 10,000 miles on it so it may not have been delivering optimum performance.

Then I tried a Burgman 650. It was a great ride, especially on motorways but I found it too much of a lump - I struggled getting it on the centre stand without any luggage so it would have been hard work on tour. But how scooters have changed since my LD125 in the 60s.

Sorry about this but this motorcyclist stays a motorcyclist.

I bought a NC750X DCT!

I was surprised to hear that too, I would not have described mine as 'buzzy' I didn't think it was buzzy doing a ton, but hey ho, horses for courses and all that.
