Been a bike rider all my life, only used scoots on hols, but now bought my first Suz 400 Burgman 2001 thing is the engine as gone bang, seems the guy I bought it off didn't tell me the truth, so hope you can help

So does the engine actually run?
If it does and the rear wheel is not turning when you rev up on the centre stand, then it may be the final drive belt.

Spoke to bike shop today and they say I need another engine. Piston broke and conrod bent
So looking for another engine........
There is a 2010 engine on eBay but its fuel injection model.does any one know if it can be converted back to carb an will it fit my 2001 model
