I agree with Gerard
I've just bought the latest 650 and love it! I get at least 150 miles to the tank, not as much as with my Downtown 300 but it's way more fun.
Size/weight wise, it is heavy however it's very well balanced. I can handle it a lot better than the downtown. My main use is commute from Woking to central London. So that includes about 20 min on the A3 and then London traffic for another half hour from Kingston all the way to the Waterloo area. I was looking for a bike comfy enough for an hours ride, enough power to get out of the way quickly and easy to ride in traffic (Btw power folding mirrors is a great plus). Test Rode loads and got this one. Got a good deal, about 700 off.
I'm not a big bloke, 5'8" so it's just about the right size for me and can move it quite easily
My very close second was the Integra, even more fun to ride but riding was not that comfortable
