No ambiguity about that, the driver needs to get some prison time. I would have found it very hard not to get into a fight with him after he starts saying "I don't care" - what a shit head.

The biker got his ticket to go with the road rash, and his licence was expired too. His girlfriend is in intensive care. The driver is "being investigated"! It happened in Texas, so who can say how it'll go.
