I'm an old codger who started riding (legally) in 1969 on a BSA Bantam. Have owned and ridden various forms of two-wheeled low-life since. Was converted to automatics around 2000 when we bought my son a Peugeot Speedfight to learn on a few months before his sixteenth birthday and used to take him for short pillion rides to warm it up occasionally. Bought myself a Honda FES 250 in 2002 which was stolen shortly after. Had an FJS600 for about 7 years, then an SH300. Have an unfortunate thing about the Honda Spacey/Elite which has led to an interminable 250 rebuild (ongoing), a brief flirtation with a 125 with the pop-up headlight and a fatal attraction for a 250 Hexagon, which I have now got over.
Currently ride an XMax 250.
Like just about everyone else on here I've also a C90.

Re: Hi.
Hi StagChilli and welcome...
What year is ya XMax 250? - i had the older '09 model now got a '13 XMax 400 and a SH125 rather than a Cub...
I have the Yamaha Service Manual in pdf on a CD Rom for the older model - to help with the spannering etc. - i think the newer mosel is just cosmetic changes.
If you would like a copy 'pm' your address...
I'll post it out for free - but how about a £5 donation to the Muppet Site Coffers to keep the site running, fair deal?

Re: Hi.
Thanks for the offer. Mine is a '10 but with only 800 miles on it when I bought it last year. Think there may have been some major changes between 09 and 10 as have just had a problem with something advertised as being for models for 07 -13 which didn't fit.XMax400Paul wrote:Hi StagChilli and welcome...
