Hi chaps / chapettes.
I'm a new forum member and new Burgman owner, (Well it's not a new Burgman, I'm just the new owner).
I've already found the answer to loads on my questions on these boards but I can't seem to see anything on changing the fuel consumption thingy from mpl to mpg. Is it even possible?
Thanks in advance.
Tom.

Re: mpl to mpg
There are 4.54 litres per gallon, so it should be a case of dividing your mpg figure by 4.54 I think

Re: mpl to mpg
Ah, thanks. I though there might be a way to make it display mpg instead of mpl.

Re: mpl to mpg
Are you in the UK?
The 400 manual states (EXCEPT FOR U.K.) the fuel consumption meter km/L and L/100km modes, where for UK models miles is shown. These are changed by pressing the SEL button for 2 seconds. So it looks like with these mpg can not be shown?

Yep, in the UK. Nr Hinckley, Leicestershire.
Since yesterday I've been the proud owner of a 2009 B400z. Do you know if I can download an owner's manual for it? Preferably free but willing to grudgingly pay.

To help, update your profile Location.
Try to get an owner manual but everything you need to know can probably be found from micburgsma, Mitche's scooter stuff. PS he is deaf.
Also check out BurgmanUSA http://burgmanusa.com/forums/52-burgman-400-2007-model/
