I too have flown Hercules Airways courtesy of her majesty's fly boys - only Lyneham to Gutersloh. Toilets were indeed "basic"

In flight meals were "Take one and pass it on" whilst seating with your legs interlocked with the bloke opposite you

Boxed meals!
Our aircrew meals in the Navy were called bag meals - curled up sarnie, dead apple, crushed crisps. The bag tasted better than the crap the cooks packed in 'em! Even the seagulls turned their beak up at 'em.
That's probably why there was never any chefs names on the list for 'jolly' flights!!

I was gutted i could not make the meet.. been looking forward to the ride and pre ride with funky.
lets hope there can be more ride outs. well done to you all whom helped in the organisation and everyone stayed safe

I am thinking of organising a ride out in my area again or further west around end of July/August time, won't be anywhere near as long as I am limited by my left leg and likely much to others relief
