Rode into work in the sunshine, equally nice for ride home too.
Bugger all traffic as usual.
Am I doing commuting wrong?

what a day fathers day turned out.... weather great so decided to do the oil change on the daelim s3 250
so dropped the old red oil and then dropped it from the filter, rob me nabour came round and we spent the next 3 hours changing the second suspension control arm, what a pig that was without losing the gearbox oil out from the drive shaft as the other side we had to drop the gearbox oil, mind you i replaced it with new oil so that job done, all done then filled the daelim up with new oil... so relaxing now, next job is the pug 206 hdi again, track rod control arm rubber and the secondary clutch slave unit, just paid online for them at £24 for both new, so next couple of weeks will do them.
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Sold it. Actually about a week ago. Sold the Burgman 400 and bought a Triumph Speedmaster - surpringly similar seating position to Burgman but more power, engine breaking and I think only 20kg or so heavier. Steers a bit slower and I expect I look like just another balding, bearded Weekend Warrior, but life is full of compromises!
However I kept my Vespa 300 which now needs me to fit service kit just arrived.

Scootles, deffo keep the Vespa. You'll soon be sick of the Triumph if it's as bad as my Bonneville was.

By the way, I meant "engine braking", not "engine breaking" - or at least I hope I did!

you cant beat a honda for a smaller capacity paul... went out for a ride to bromley and back other day on the honda vision 110 great traction with the city grips, lacks the mid range punch but was fantastic to ride, first time out for 3 months, fired up first time and done just under 15000 miles, funny thing is i bought it for my daughter at 13750 miles and blackpool honda did the 15000 mile service with the new belt and rollers and tappets etc etc.. casey only tootled to work and back in last two years come september and last mot just needed top steering rack tightening, didnt charge her, the scoots had full service history with honda blackpool and all it needed was tyres and a new centre stand under warranty. so i need to do the oil and gear oil this summer... but its bulletproof so you will have no problems... best we ask stevew as he probably done megga miles already
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.
