I have just received this email from Adrian from the B.B
I hope this does not spoil our reputation

Dear Alan,
A HUGE thank you for all your months of hard work in pulling together such a lovely group of people for their visit to Normandy.
Sorry we missed you the last evening.
We fully appreciate all the stress and effort involved in pulling together a group as you did, and they were all lovely.
I think the camp site guys didn’t feel left out too much, and it all pretty much worked out.
Great having you all here with us, and some lovely evenings all around the big dinner table – good fun and good company.
Really please everyone has had a pretty good time and enjoyed their trip.
If you are minded to subject yourselves to the stress and pain of Group Organising again – we’d be delighted to welcome you
all back whenever you like !

If anyone got some good pictures, or a courtyard “Group Shot” we’d love to have a copy for our facebook page.
Wishing you a good summer for getting out and about on the bike, and with best wishes to all the group,

Very best regards,
Adrian & Karen Scott Cox

I'm not sure how to get a message back to Adrian but if I anyone does reply I'd like to thank them both for their kind hospitality and I'm sure a good time was had by all.

Has Adrian got the right group :-)
Joking apart, I for one had a great time as I am sure everyone else did. A big thank you to Alan for organising and to Adrian and Helen at the B&B who looked after the campers as well. Sterling service!

I have just messaged them on Facebook and left a 5* review as well. Sent then some pictures and given them access to the website so they can download whatever they like.

A quick footnote... some of you may recall that the Helix fell prey to a slight mishap outside the Travelodge on the way out. Suffice to say that all was resolved amicably, and when I got home it briefly looked like this:

but now it looks like this:

and that f****** Conti365 is in the bin. Three out of the four of those I bought got punctures - it's back to Metzeler ME17s for me from now on. They might only last 3000 miles, but they always get me home :D
